There are many reasons that a person’s license can be suspended. Unpaid fines is the most common. The minimum driving under suspension charge is $1000 plus court costs and a 6 month suspension.

Every person who drives a motor vehicle or street car on a highway while his or her driver’s licence is suspended is guilty of an offence and on conviction is liable for a driving under suspension charge.
